L'objectif de la spécialisation Infectiologie est de former à un niveau national et international des professionnels dans le domaine des maladies infectieuses, tant dans les activités de recherche académique que dans les activités de recherche appliquée du secteur industriel. Ainsi, à l'issue de leur master, les étudiants auront suivi :

• Une formation à la recherche par la recherche pour ceux se destinant à poursuivre en thèse de doctorat dans le secteur public ou privé (contrat CIFRE) en partenariat entre l'Université et un laboratoire de recherche public ou privé /ou Une formation leur permettant d'appréhender les problématiques des entreprises liées aux secteurs pharmaceutique et vétérinaire pour ceux se destinant à travailler dans le secteur privé
  
• Une formation scientifique conceptuelle et pratique de pointe dans le domaine de l'infectiologie : virologie, microbiologie, immunologie, relations hôtes-pathogènes, vaccinologie
  
  
• Une formation aux différents supports de communication scientifique : posters, publications scientifiques, revues générales, veille scientifique et technologique, présentations orales
  
  

 Cette formation est dispensée par des chercheurs-enseignants universitaires et fait intervenir de nombreux personnels extérieurs tels que des chercheurs CNRS, INSERM, INRAE ou des personnels de l'industrie pharmaceutique ou vétérinaire. Le stage dans un laboratoire de recherche ou en entreprise, permet aux étudiants de finaliser l'acquisition des diverses compétences théoriques et pratiques nécessaires à ce secteur d'activité ainsi que les outils indispensables au développement d'un projet scientifique : synthèse d'articles, réalisation d'expériences, rédaction d'un mémoire, présentation des résultats à l'oral.

Cette formation s'adresse :

• A des étudiants scientifiques possédant un Master 1, aux élèves ingénieurs, ou autres diplômés d’un niveau Bac+4 équivalent, désireux d'acquérir un Master 2 et/ou de poursuivre en thèse
• Aux étudiants de Santé (Médecins, Pharmaciens, Vétérinaires), souhaitant approfondir leurs connaissances dans le domaine de l'infectiologie, ou acquérir un Master 2

The overarching objective of the "Infectiology" specialization is to train professionals in the field of infectious diseases at both the national and international level, with a focus on academic research and applied research in the industrial sector. Upon successful completion of a master's degree programme, students will have accomplished the following:

• Research training through research for those intending to pursue a doctoral thesis in the public or private sector (CIFRE contract) in partnership between the University and a public or private research laboratory/or training establishment / or training enabling them to understand the issues faced by companies in the pharmaceutical and veterinary sectors for those intending to work in the private sector.
• Cutting-edge conceptual and practical scientific training in the field of infectious diseases: virology, microbiology, immunology, host-pathogen relationships, vaccinology
• Training in various scientific communication media: posters, scientific publications, general journals, scientific and technological monitoring, oral presentations

This training is provided by university researchers and lecturers and involves numerous external staff such as researchers from the CNRS, INSERM, INRAE, and personnel from the pharmaceutical and veterinary industries. The internship in a research laboratory or company allows students to finalize the acquisition of the various theoretical and practical skills necessary for this sector of activity, as well as the tools essential for the development of a scientific project: synthesis of articles, conducting experiments, writing a thesis, and presenting results orally.

This program is intended for:

• Science students with a Master's 1 degree, engineering students, or other graduates with an equivalent Bac+4 degree who wish to obtain a Master's 2 degree and/or pursue a thesis
• Healthcare students (doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians) who wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of infectious diseases or obtain a Master's 2 degree
